ANZAC Day paintings- The surviving memory of the ANZACS

In Year 3&4 Art we explored the Anzac legend and the importance of commemorating the soldiers who did not come home. We decided to make some memorial paintings for our whole school Anzac service during assembly. The paintings incorporated symbols such as the poppies, and crosses that represent the graves of lost soldiers. We used water colours paint sunsets and when our paper was dry we painted the details over our sunsets in dark  silhouettes. We think they are a great way to commemorate the Anzacs. Let us know what you think of our painting skills.
