Grade 3/4 Camp to Mt Evelyn!

Giant Swing

On camp, one of the activities was the giant swing.  The giant swing was 18metres high! We had to wear a harness and lots of people had a go.  It was challenging but mostly fun! We had to pull a blue rope to make us fly swiftly down.  It was very fast!

Archery

Archery is a basic game of bow and arrows.  The aim of the game is to shoot the target or pop the balloon. Sometimes people miss the target.  The white is one point, the black is two points, blue is three points, red is four points, yellow is five points and the middle is ten points! We had to stay behind the red cone.  After the students had three shots, they collected their arrows.

Flying Fox

The flying fox is a swing that goes down a rope.  First we climbed a ladder with our harness. Then the instructor connected us to a rope and we swung fast down a hill.  To go on the flying fox you need to be strapped up so you can be safe.  A black tyre helps you to slow down and stop.  Walking off the platform was scary.  We loved the flying fox!
