During Book Week, we celebrated ‘Food from Everywhere’ by sharing dishes from different cultures with the rest of the class. This was such an engaging experience as it allowed some of our classmates to taste food from another culture for the first time! We were able to enjoy and appreciate the flavours from around the world! After enjoying the feast, we showed our curiosity by asking questions about the food.
“I wonder when this dish was first made?”
“What ingredients are in this food?”
“Would this still taste good if I added more ingredients to it?”
“Why do countries have different types of food?”
Indian vegetable string rolls
Portugese custard tarts
Filipino noodles (pancit)
